Reading Area Charities (RACT) is a consortium of 8 Reading based charities who have come together in order to pool their resources in a bid to secure more funds for individual causes.

The aim of RACT is to provide a single point for you to help all nine charities though a scheme known as Payroll Giving system, which allows you to make a simple monthly donation.

RACT members are already helping people in Reading every day including people who are older or disabled; families and communities in need of extra support; and people who are financially or educationally disadvantaged as well as helping to make Reading a safer and better place to live.  Your donation will help them achieve even more!

Whether you want to give a little every month or make a more generous one-off donation, RACT can find a way of giving to suit your circumstances.

Reading charities that are not members of RACT are also able to access funds by making a grant application to Berkshire Community Foundation.
