You certainly did!  A big THANK YOU to all who were involved in the fantastic day, especially the dancers and the thousand plus audience who came to watch or even to "have a go".  It would have been lonely without them.  It was wonderful to see so many people of all ages smiling and enjoying themselves on and off stage.. The pages of press coverage said it all:

"Dancers raise charity cash at showcase... RACT to benefit from day of dance"

"Dance schools shake it up on the stage......Dancers jived, tapped, pirouted, Lindy Hopped, belly danced and tangoed at Reading`s first Dance Showcase, which raised £2500 for Reading Area Charities Together". 

These things do not just happen. Special thanks and congratulations go to Jude and Richard Chapman for their vision and inspirational enthusiasm, and to all the volunteers who made it work on the day.. Last, but not least, thanks to all who donated such generous prizes for the raffle and tombola.

RACT will benefit by some £2500 and that means that all those who depend on our help and support are the real winners.   Look forward to an even bigger success next year???  

REAP will be merging with Ability Housing Association (Ability) as of the 1st February 2009 and REAP as a Charitable Organisation will be dissolved as of the 31st March 2009.
